HOW DOES IT WORK?
ArmorWare runs its own non-windows operating system directly off the CD and it uses the USB key as its hard drive. It never uses the computer’s own hard drive so there is no trace left behind.
Because it is a non-windows environment, most threats cannot run and those that can are blocked by a locked down firewall. When you access the internet from ArmorWare, our servers send and receive the information on your behalf so no outside party can tell where you are surfing to or from.

How much memory do I have in the USB Key?
the one it comes with has 128 but you can also use your own USB key that has more capacity
All emails are sent encrypted or can I decide which to encrypt?
They are sent unencrypted until you exchange keys with the other person. Once the keys are exchanged, the encryption happens automatically. You do not have to do anything.
At how many bits is the encryption?
the information is encrypted at up to 4096 bit depending on which setting you choose, 4096bit is one of the highest rates available commercially.
What about somebody still my CD or key, do I have to buy a new set?
IF you have kept a backup of your key, you would not need to buy a whole new ArmorWare. We could send you a new CD or memory key at cost.
Which program can use with the ArmorWare desk top?
Because ArmorWare runs off a CD, you can only use the programs which are installed on that CD. they include a set of work programs compatible with (and very similar to) Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint, an internet browser, a mail program, a chat program, a graphic editing program.
If I receive a document in a Microsoft program will I be able to read it?
Yes and edit to.
And what about Front Page and or FTP?
you can access an ftp through the web browser but it does not have an html editor like front page. if you want to edit html in ArmorWare, you need to manually edit the html in a text editor.
Let say I have 30 emails accounts, how can I manage it if I cannot use Outlook Express and/or something similar?
You have something similar in ArmorWare
Let say, I need to retrieve a file from my hard disk to attach to an email, what I have to do?
Load up windows regularly, put in the USB key only and drag the file onto the key. You will then be able to access it from ArmorWare.
Do I need to use an anti-virus?
Virus protection is a part of the guarantee for Armorware. You will still need an antivirus when you are running in windows, but when you run in the Armorware Environment, you are safe.
